Medical Specialization (Residency) in Iran requires general Medical Doctorate (MD) license and a physician who has this license can pursue training in an area of Medical Specialization (Residency). The length of Medical Specialization (Residency) training varies depending on the Specialty. Normally, Specialty training (Residency) lasts at least 5 years.
