Sports act as a key point in having a healthy, wealthy and active life and  mind. Sports and recreation also build healthier, happier and stronger people with more self-confidence and higher self-esteem. Therefore, it is very essential for students to have physical exercise and participate in sports activities.

KMU offers sports and entertainment facilities both inside the campus and in dormitories. Multi-purpose sports halls are provided for organizing exercise programs in several sports fields including football, futsal, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, chess, badminton, taekwondo, wrestling, bodybuilding, track and field, darts and karate. A well-equipped swimming pool including a sauna and Jacuzzi is also provided for students within the campus.

Different sports competitions are held inside the university, disaggregated by gender and the selected teams are sent to inter-university tournaments and national competitions.
